Affinity.SV es un sitio web basado en un foro dirigido a personas que tienen afinidad por El Salvador y su gente. El logotipo y la marca Affinity.SV Le encargué a mi diseñador José Casal que creara nuestra identidad de marca. José creó nuestro logotipo, el logotipo y la marca en general, similar a lo que hizo en Nelly Eggsy. José es un diseñador que trabaja para marcas globales de renombre, agencias de diseño e individuos. Crea trabajos de diseño para una amplia gama de plataformas. Soy cliente suyo desde hace años. Cuando le pregunté qué pensaba sobre el logo que diseñó, dijo: Usamos los colores cálidos del Torogoz (momoto ceja turquesa), el ave nacional de El Salvador. Los colores del Torogoz representan la vivacidad y actualidad de ese país. El resultado final fue un equilibrio armonioso entre la ilustración realista del pájaro y la apariencia moderna del logotipo. Por supuesto, José y yo discutiríamos mis expectativas y mi visión para que la comunidad logre el producto final. Proporcionaría comentarios con cada revisión hasta llegar a la versión final del logotipo. Fue muy receptivo a mis opiniones y comentarios y no tuvo miedo de expresarme sus preocupaciones para beneficiar el diseño final. Affinity.SV is a forum-based website aimed at people who have an affinity for El Salvador and its people. It is for people with Salvadoran roots, ex-pats, foreigners living in El Salvador, and those who have a connection to this country. We want to build a recognizable and trustworthy brand with our community, so we officially announce our brand logos, colors, and typography today. The Affinity.SV Logo and Brand I commissioned my longtime designer José Casal to create our branding identity. José created our logotype, logomark, and overall branding, similar to what he did on Nelly Eggsy. José is a designer who works for reputed global brands, design agencies, and individuals. He creates design work for a wide range of platforms. I have been a client of his for years. When I asked him what he thought about the logo he designed, he said: We use the warm colors of the Torogoz (Turquoise-browed motmot), the national bird of El Salvador. The colors of the Torogoz represent the vivacity and topicality of that country. The final result was a harmonious balance between the realistic bird illustration and the modern look and feel of the logo. Of course, José and I would go back and forth on my expectations and vision for the community to achieve the final product. I would provide feedback with each revision until we reach the final version of the logo. He was very receptive to my feedback and comments and was not afraid to voice his concerns with me to benefit the final design. It is similar to empathy, rapport, sympathy, accord, harmony, etc. What is this website? This community is for anyone who has an affinity for El Salvador and the Salvadoran people. This website is also for people who have blood ties to El Salvador and expats living in this beautiful country.
